Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the salt and
flour. Mix thoroughly. Chill dough for one hour. Preheat
oven to 350 degrees. Form the dough into small balls
(about 3/4 of an inch in diameter). Roll in additional
lavender sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and
bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove to a rack to cool.
