Lavender Cookies

  • 1 cup of softened unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup of lavender sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of flour
Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the salt and flour. Mix thoroughly. Chill dough for one hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Form the dough into small balls (about 3/4 of an inch in diameter). Roll in additional lavender sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove to a rack to cool.
